Miniature Schnauzer

A fun Loving dog whose size doesn’t truly reflect their strong Personality.
For their size, they are surprisingly brave and will pull their weight as a watchdog, even to the point as to watch the kids. We describe them as the perfect little boy’s dog because of their Loyalty.
They make energetic, enthusiastic little mates that are as dependable as you want them to be. They are adaptable to nearly almost any situations – be it in an apartment, house or farm, and cope reasonably well with being left alone. A daily walk is recommended and is even better if it includes a run off the leash to really blow of the cobwebs. Keeping their appearance true to form will take little work. Daily brushing is recommended. Their coat is generally easy care, a soft bristled brush is all you require and the occasional clip by the groomer. Be careful not to over bathe these guys as their skin and coats are prone to drying out a little. Mini Schnauzers are pretty robust and healthy on the whole, with just a few niggly problems that you should be aware off in their later years. There is a tendency to develop skin lumps like cysts, (which are more of an annoyance than anything), as well as the occasional Skin irritation and allergy. The odd plumbing problem in their urinary tract (due to bladder stones) is also seen.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

The Cav was originally developed from a cross between King Charles and a Cocker Spaniel. However, there is nothing truly regal about this breed. They do require a lot of time as they are a very lively so play time is a must. Unlike most dogs of this size they have a spot-on temperament so having them around kids would not be a problem or even the elderly. The king is not a breed renowned for barking but more the affection .These Kings are great for small living quarters so if you have an apartment or a house with a small yard don't worry these dogs are suited for these due to their size. They are a beautiful breed and would be a must for any dog lover.
Medically speaking, those long ears may cause few problems, once moisture is trapped in there (through swimming and bathing), it's not getting out in a hurry, so always keep an eye on this to avoid ear infections . Comb or brush with a firm bristle brush, and bathe or dry shampoo as necessary. The feathered hair on the ears is prone to tangling and matting, so this dog should be thoroughly groomed often.

Golden Retriever
The Golden Retriever was developed in Britain during the 1800's. The man responsible for this illustrious breed, Lord Tweedmouth, wanted a dog that was loyal, kind, spirited, and energetic. He also wanted a dog with a love for water and the ability to retrieve. Golden Retrievers are the embodiment of beauty and brains.
These Dogs are justifiably one of the most popular choices as a pet for kids and the family. They are gentle and understanding around children, but still playful and affectionate enough to have a huge amount of fun with adults and teenagers. Goldie's also make a excellent guard dog playing the role of both good cop/ bad cop routine beautifully, being great around the kids but also seemingly tough enough to keep unwanted guest's out.
Being a Retriever they love the water so with that being said this is a great way to get your dog alot of the exercise required, but remember don't over do it as like the Labrador this will be tiring for the dog. The Golden Retriever requires daily and thorough brushing with a firm bristle brush. They should be dry shampooed regularly, and bathed only when absolutely necessary with a mild shampoo. They are prone to hip dysplasia, cataracts, and skin allergies, though careful breeding assists here. It is important to not over feed the Golden Retriever, as they have a tendency to gain weight.

Schnoodle

Schnoodles are a cross between a Schnauzer and a Poodle.  They vary in size, depending on the size of the parents, from Miniatures maturing between 4.5kg to 7.kg to Standards maturing up to 27kg!  The most popular size is the Mini Schnoodle.  They are very good with children, quite tolerant of a lot of rough-housing.  On a range of 1-10, 10 being the most active (like a Jack Russell Terrier!), they will generally fall in the range of 4-7.   Most have a soft and fluffy coat, which is non-shedding, and quite well tolerated by most people with allergies.  Some Schnoodles have a harsher, more terrier type coat, which sheds some while the pup is young, but sheds very little when the dog matures.  Coat type is evident by about 5 weeks of age.  Coat colors are quite varied - solids like black, silver, white, tan, apricot, sables (a mixture of gold and black), and parti's too - black and white like Holstein cows.  Phantoms are also quite common - that's black and apricot like the color of doberman pinschers.  Schnoodles are quite intelligent and easily trained.  They have a more active nature, like terriers, but do enjoy settling down while you read a book or watch TV.
